Extend your visit in the comfort of a charming bed and breakfast.

(from 1er June to 31 August)

The best times of the day to watch the animals are during the golden dawns and red sunsets, when they gather around the ponds to drink. That is why we offer our visitors the opportunity to spend the night on the Reserve. We have designed charming accommodation facilities in the eaves of the manor house and in renovated bedrooms in the outbuildings. And in the warm seasons you can sleep in the Ecolodges on the Reserve.

The history of the Domaine du Haut-Thorenc goes back a long way. Construction of the manor house began around 1550, as can be witnessed from the remains of the fortified interiors and the vaulted cellars. Despite substantial rebuilding during the 17 and 18 th centuries, the manor has kept the Provence "bastide" style with its round towers on the north side of the building.

Rooms and Meals

Lunch can be provided with advance reservation. Our restaurant has 2 dining rooms (70 settings)

and a covered terrace with chimney and barbecue (120 settings). For lunch we offer a selection of starters, a main course and a choice of desserts, usually made with regional produce.

In the evenings our chef invites you to share his passion for seasonal fresh produce. To complement your meal, don't hesitate to ask for the wine list. It offers a wide selection of fine wines to enjoy at reasonable prices!

Fifteen rooms have recently been renovated using many natural materials. The floors of some showers are paved with large stones collected on the Reserve, the walls of the rooms are decorated with natural pigments.

Decorated in a Provencal style, they can sleep between 2 and 4 guests. Spacious and cosy, all rooms have an en-suite bathroom and WC.

The five rooms in the bioclimatic villa, opened in 2011, have been designed according to bioclimatic architectural principles. Their environmental impact, from conception to use, has been reduced to a minimum by using noble materials (wood, stone.) and recycled materials (cellulose wadding), by using renewable energy (solar and geothermal) and water-saving devices.

Ecolodges- an intrusion into the private lives of wild animals

Made from canvas, wood and stone these five shelters, made to measure by the team from "Style et Nature", blend perfectly into the landscape. The ecolodges are intended to help you experience an unforgettable moment, like being in a bush camp in Africa.

Dive into the heart of nature, into magical places where you will witness the images of nightfall and the coming to life of the Reserve in the early mornings.

Each ecolodge is equipped with two beds, a table and chairs, a bush bathroom with a water point and 30 litres of water (possibility of open air shower) and a separate dry toilet.

Meals are eaten at the ecolodge around an open fire, in the company of your guide.

As the camp is 1200 m above sea level, the evenings can be chilly. We advise you to bring a warm jacket, a duvet for those who really feel the cold, and a head torch.
